View Funeral WebcastEddie Hinson Prince, Jr., "Maxidyne Man" , 62, former truck driver and employee of Columbia Rock Products, died Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at his residence on South Main Street in Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Eddie "Ted" Hinson Prince, Sr. and Janice Thomas Heffington. He was married to Connie Sue Sullivan Prince who preceded him in death on March 31, 2012. He enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his children, Eddie H. Prince, III, Misty Sullivan, Melissa Sullivan, and Chasity Longo, all of Columbia; sister, Wanda Stanfill of Mt. Pleasant; several grandchildren including Chad Prince, Houston Love, and Savannah Sullivan, all of Columbia; two nieces, Kayla Stanfill and Emily Stanfill; two aunts, Nelda Lawrence of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Peggy Kelley of Sawdust Community; step-mother, Earline Prince of Columbia; and several cousins. Pallbearers will be Ricky Haskins, Josh Haskins, Woodrow York, Joe York, Chris Head, Cory Scott, Gene Scott and Daniel Head. Honorary pallbearers include past and present truck drivers and friends and family of Chuckwagon Grille.
