View Video Tribute View Funeral Webcast Edith Brown Rummage, 84, long-time resident of Cranford Hollow Road, died Monday, June 6, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Everett Campbell and Randy Short officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late John Brown and Louella Hardison Brown. On October 30, 1943 she married Roy Lee Rummage who preceded her in death December 19, 1994. Throughout their married lives she and her husband worked together on their farm until they retired. Mrs. Rummage was a member of Sharp's Corner Church of Christ. Survivors include a daughter Shirley Rummage (Lynn) Womack; sons Ray Allen (Elaine) Rummage and Tony L. Rummage; grandchildren Kimberly Rummage Michaels, Jeffery Eugene Rummage, Lori Womack Cantrell, Steven Brad Womack, Russell Lee Womack, Chris Rummage, Jacob Rummage; and tgreat-grandchildren Lauren Cantrell, Mattie Cantrell, Mollie Cantrell, Allison Cantrell, Cameron Henderson, Carly Henderson, Carson Womack, Cate Womack, Trevor Michaels, Audrey Claire Michaels, Blake Rummage, Kayden Rummage; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Danny Wayne Rummage and brothers and sisters, Edgar L. Brown, Raymond Brown, Ernest Brown, Howard Brown, Mable Whitley, Lurlene Caldwell and Frances Potts. Pallbearers will be Jeff Rummage, Brad Womack, Russ Womack, Chris Rummage, Jacob Rummage and Cameron Henderson.
