View Video TributeView Funeral Service Webcast Edna Young Lynn, 95, resident of Sheddan Drive, died Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Pastor Richard Van Cleave officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late George Young and Jessie Turner Young. She attended Rock Springs Baptist Church for a number of years. On April 14, 1934 she married Raymond Lynn. Their thirty-eight year marriage ended with his death April 23, 1972. Mrs. Lynn was a cashier at Dowdy's Grocery for twenty-six years and Whitthorne Junior High School Cafeteria also for twenty-six years. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Charles King of Culleoka; her son and daughter-in-law, Clifford and Betty Lynn of Eagleville; grandchildren, Brent (JoAnna)Lynn, Donna Lynn, Kevin (Cindy) Lynn, and Renee (Marty) Leland; great-grandchildren, Brittney Lynn, Scott Lynn, Shelby Bray, Travis Lynn, Katie Lynn, and Wyatt Raymond Lynn; a niece and nephew. She was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Edward Lynn; daughter-in-law, Margaret Lynn; grandson, Mark King; sister, Willie Anderson; and brother, James Young. Active pallbearers include Ray Anderson, Edgar Deason, Kevin Lynn, Scott Lynn, Marty Leland, and Travis Lynn. Jerry Phares, Bill Hardison, and Brent Lynn will serve as honorary pallbearers.
