View Video TributeView Funeral Webcast Edna House Witherow, 93, long-time resident of Denham Avenue, died Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Family and friends will gather for visitation Monday at 12:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. with Randy Owens and Jeremy Butt officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. She was a sales associate for a number of years at Parks-Belk Company in the ladies department. Mrs. Witherow was a faithful member of West 7th Street Church of Christ for many years and the Auditorium Sunday School Class and Tuesday Ladies Bible Class. Her husband of sixty-nine years, Vernon F. Witherow, died June 20, 2010. Survivors include her son, Roger (Reda) Witherow of Columbia; grandsons, Will (Tabitha) Witherow of Nashville, Scott (Aria) Witherow of Franklin, Trent (Justine) Witherow of Columbia, and Trevor Witherow of Columbia; great-grandchildren, Trey Witherow, Aubrie Witherow, Lucinda Witherow, and Rose Witherow; sister-in-law, Dorothy Jean Witherow of Columbia; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Vernon Dailey Witherow; sisters, Celestine Margaret Bourne, Lorena Hann, Grace Elizabeth Modrall; and brothers, Burton House, Porter House, and John House. Active pallbearers are Will Witherow, Scott Witherow, Trent Witherow, Trevor Witherow, Mark Witherow, Wesley Witherow, Austin Witherow, and George Witherow. Honorary pallbearers include Ronnie King, Cecil Duncan, Norman Dean, Jimmy Adkisson, Wayne Trimble, Larry Witherow, and Harold Woosley.
