Eleanor Loy Patterson Clark, 67, retired Information Technician for the Tennessee Farm Bureau and resident of Cornelia Avenue, died Wednesday at Life Care of Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Robert Creasy, Reverend Jeff Yohe, and Rev. William Robert Wiley officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Billy Patterson and Evelyn Scroggins Patterson. She was a 1961 graduate of Cumberland County High School and was Valedictorian of her class. Mrs. Clark was a member of The Church of God. She was married June 5, 1965 to Ernest Wilburn Clark who died September 20, 1997. Survivors include her daughter, Angela (Terry) Sargent of Columbia; grandsons, Wilburn "Wil" Sargent and Andrew Sargent of Columbia; sister and brothers, Carolyn Fay (Charles) Martindale of Columbia, Boyd Marscell (Alice) Patterson of Douglasville, Georgia, and Wendell (Brenda) Patterson of Franklin; sisters-in-law, Victoria Jean Clark and Jean Sands Clark of Columbia; brothers-in-law James (Betty) Clark of Sawdust, Billy (Sue) Clark, and Charles (Bertha) Clark of Columbia; several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers are Wil Sargent, Marty Clark, Bill Brooks, Steven Martindale, Mike Patterson, Wayne Clark, Chip Clark, Wayne Franklin, Dr. P. J. Patterson, Boyd M. Patterson, Phillip Patterson, and Evan Patterson. Honorary pallbearers include Dr. Raymond Martin, Karen Moon, Mary Ball, and friends from Tennessee Farm Bureau, The Bridge, and staff and employees of Davita.
