Elizabeth "Liz" McCullom Estes

View Video TributeMrs. Elizabeth Ann "Liz" McCullom Estes, 61, employee of Maury Regional Medical Center and resident of McIntire Drive, died Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Danny Riggins officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Sam McCullom and Dorothy Hyle McCullom. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and friend to many people. Mrs. Estes was a member of Shepard's Chapel Church. Survivors include her husband of nearly forty years, David H. Estes of Columbia; sons, Tim (Sherrie) Estes of Culleoka, David Lee Estes of Columbia; brother, Lewis (Barbara) McCullom of Culleoka; sisters, Patsy Smithson, Mary Lee Dotson both of Columbia, Martha Frances Wade of Jackson; grandchildren, Timothy Michael Estes, Hunter Lee Estes, Jacob Josiah-Riley Estes and Tara Rae Crowe. She was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Faye Scott and a brother, Sonny McCullom. Active pallbearers will be Michael Estes, Hunter Estes, Larry Smithson, Andy Smithson, Martin Dale Scott and Tommy Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be co-workers at Maury Regional Medical Center and the staff of the Oncology Department at Maury Regional.
