Elizabeth Faye Uzzell

View Video Tribute View Funeral Webcast Mrs. Elizabeth Faye Bell Uzzell, 78, a resident of Luke Moser Road, died Sunday, August 29, 2021 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Uzzell will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Randy Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born October 22, 1942 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Farris Bell and the late Elizabeth Harvell Bell. On January 13, 1962 she married the love of her life, Frank Thomas Uzzell, Sr. She worked at Cosmolab where she was a paint machine operator for many years. Mrs. Uzzell enjoyed quilting, growing flowers and spending time with her grandbabies. Her greatest joy was her family, who she cared for deeply. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Tommy (Carol) Uzzell, Jeff (Carrie) Uzzell, and Joey (Joanna) Uzzell; daughter-in-law, Vanessa Uzzell; grandchildren, Lana Uzzell, Will Uzzell, Jon Uzzell, Gracie & Matt Gaines, Morgan Uzzell, Kaylee Uzzell, and Allie Uzzell; great-grandchildren, Sadie Slaughter, Bryson Uzzell, Ellie Slaughter, and Nolan Gaines; brother, Joe Bell; and sister, Ann Haskins. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Uzzell; brother, Gene Bell; great-grandchild, Landon Slaughter. Pallbearers will be her nephews.
