Elizabeth Lane Pearson

Mrs. Elizabeth "Lib" Lane Pearson, 85, died Saturday, December 11th at her residence in Maryville.A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at New Providence Presbyterian Church in Maryville. The family will visit with friends following the service at the church.Memorials may be made to New Providence Presbyterian Church, 703 Broadway, Maryville, TN 37803 or Blount County Public Library, 508 North Cusick Street, Maryville, TN 37804.Mrs. Pearson was retired from the Maury County Board of Education and Maryville City Schools. A long-time resident of Trotwood Avenue in Columbia, she was a former member of First Presbyterian Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward K. Pearson, long-time manager of Columbia's Sterchi Furniture Company; a son, Kelly Pearson; her parents, Vola and Quincy Lane and brothers, Dr. Richard A. Lane and William H. Lane.Survivors include her daughter, Jean Pearson Redwine and son-in-law, Dr. Alfred L. Redwine of Maryville; granddaughters, Jenni (Jeff) Simmons of Candler, North Carolina, Becky Redwine of Nashville and Julie Redwine of New London, Connecticut; life-long friend, Jean Knella of Maryville; several nieces and nephews.McCammon-Ammons & Click Funeral Home in Maryville is in charge of arrangements.
