Ellen Evon Morgan

Ellen Evon Morgan, 85, retired optician and former resident of Columbia, died August 23, 2023 in Orlando, Florida where she had made her home for many years.

A native of Orlando, Florida, born May 20, 1937, to the late Jesse Vitruvios Morgan and the late Thelma Bickerton Morgan. Miss Morgan served in the U. S. Navy from 1954 to 1958. She was a member of the Catholic Women Association and St. Charles Borremeo Catholic Church.

Survivors include her soul mate of 63 years, Ernestine Rinks of Orlando, Florida.

 A graveside inurnment will take place at a later date at Rose Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with local arrangements.
