Emma Mae White Graves, 82, retired from First American National Bank and resident of Burt Drive, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 3:00 p.m. at Joelton Memory Gardens in Joelton. The family will visit with friends at graveside. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Early Reed White and Ida Mae Chumbley White and a graduate of Nashville Business College. She was a member of West End Baptist Church and Maury Regional Medical Center Auxiliary. He husband, Millard Graves, died February 6, 1987. Survivors include her sisters, Deamie Priest, Sue (James "Pete") Harlan, and Earline Prince, all of Columbia; sons, Elijah Steakley of Bakersfield, California and Paul Eugene Steakley of Phoenix, Arizona; daughter, Ellen Huston of Bakersfield, California; step-children, Jeff Graves of Tampa, Florida, Linda (John) Clark of Atlanta, Georgia, Pauline (Billy)Ring of Chapel Hill, and Josephine (Tommy) Lambert of Fairview; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her sisters wish to especially thank her step-children, whom she considered as her own children, for their attention and loving care.
