View Video Tribute Emma Jean Hood Lanius, 85, employee of McDonald's Restaurant and resident of Parkway Avenue, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Elmer Lusk officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Fred Richard Hood and Hildred Willis Hood. She was married to Earl Lambert Lanius who died September 26, 1997. Survivors include daughters, Doris Green of Louisiana, Debbie Lanius of Franklin, Vickie Lanius of Columbia; grandchildren, Shannon Davis, Alyson Ramser, Danielle Miley, Michael Lewellyn and Michelle Lewellyn; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy Claire Gray of Columbia; and brother, Gary Hood. She was preceded in death by siblings, Anna Mai Hood, Fred Buford Hood, John William Hood, Paul Richard Hood, Donald Luke Hood and Ray Seaton Hood. Active pallbearers will be Michael Lewellyn, Austin Davis, Allan Hood, Marvin Hood, Eddie Stephens and Michael Fagan. Honorary pallbearers will be Gina and Tony Wolfe, Kris Turner, Joyce Cockrell, the entire McDonald's family, Ricky Lewellyn, Benjamin Green, Eugene Bice and Tommy Davis.
