Ernestine Proctor "Teenie" Baldwin 83, resident of Danbury Drive in Columbia, died Friday, July 30, 2010 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Memphis Memorial Park in Memphis. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. A native of Caruthersville, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Elmore Proctor and Rose Lamon Butler Proctor. She was a member of Mullins United Methodist Church in Memphis and loved reading and travel. She was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Donald David Baldwin August 2, 1969. Survivors include her daughters, Christian B. (George K.) Evans of Clemmons, North Carolina and Susan B. Mayfield of Columbia; sisters, Dorothy Hill of Clovis, California and Chlora Avery of Almont, Michigan; brothers, Gary (Hope) Proctor of Cordova and Chester Proctor of Lapeer, Michigan; grandchildren, Michelle (David) Harman, Rush Mayfield, Rev. Catherine (Jason) Knott, Natalie (Chris) Anderson, and David Baldwin Evans; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Marcy, Misty, Patience, Kyle, and Sylvia. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with arrangements.
