View Video Tribute Ethel Conner Humphrey, 79, died Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at her residence on Chestnut Ridge Road in Santa Fe. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Dr. Tom Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery in Williamson County. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 12noon until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. On December 10, 1949 she married James Hardin Humphrey who preceded her in death June 8, 1992. She was retired from Lasko Metal Products. Mrs. Humphrey was a member of Elmore Church of the Nazarene.Survivors include six daughters, Cheryl (Butch) Bryant of Alabama, Glenda (Wayne) Clark of Williamson County, Barbara (Ronnie) Blackburn of Santa Fe, Libby (Reno) Davis of the Water Valley Community, Donna (Andy) Bennett of Williamsport, Sandra (Marshel) Anderson of Santa Fe; three sons, Larry (Rhonda) Humphrey of Santa Fe, Jerry Humphrey of Theta, Terry Humphrey of Williamson County; sisters, Dessie Griggs and Yvonne Beard both of Williamson County, Rosie Lee King of Columbia; brother, Howard (Willie B.) Conner of Williamson County; twenty grandchildren; and thirty six great-grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Elmore Nazarene Church.
