View Funeral WebcastEula Roberson Brown, 91, long-time dairy farmer and homemaker in the Bear Creek Community, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at her residence on Bear Creek Pike. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Jeff Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late LeAndrew Core "Tobe" Roberson and Betty Jane Vaughn Roberson. She was a member of the New Lasea Church of Christ. Survivors include a daughter, Teresa (Bobby) Bobo of Columbia; grandchildren, Nicholas Bobo, Tyler Bobo, Steven Bobo, Jason (Lori) Sloan, Mike (Marsha) Brown, Chrissy (Rodney) Paul, all of Columbia, Randy Sloan of Napa Valley, California and Phillip Higgins of Sacramento, California; great-grandchildren, Skylie Bobo, Jacob (Whitney) Sloan, Joe (Brittnay) Sloan, Madison Sloan, Quenten Sloan, Brooklyn Sloan, Alyssa Potts, Payton Paul, Chelsea Brown, all of Columbia and Jason Sloan of Hawaii; a sister, Harriett "Hattie" Shine of Clearwater, Florida. She was married October 22, 1939 to Homer Edward Brown who died October 10, 1975. She was also preceded in death by 3 sons, Tommy Brown, Ralph Brown, and Ricky Brown. Active pallbearers are Jacob Sloan, Joe Sloan, David Bobo, Bill Taylor, David Matwijczuk, and Paul Matwijczuk. Honorary pallbearers include Dr. Gibran Naddy and staff, nurses and staff of Caris Hospice and Middle Tennessee Home Health Care.
