Eunice Grace Stewart Wolfe, 92, retired instructor with the Impact Center and longtime resident of Graymere Manor Road, died Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Signature Health Care. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Vassar and Rev. John Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born February 2, 1924 in Winston County, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Ira Foster Stewart and the late Elizabeth Frances Helton Stewart. On August 15, 1959 she married Olin Wolfe who preceded her in death September 2, 2008. After retirement, Mrs. Wolfe enjoyed traveling and camping with her husband. She was a member of Pleasant Heights Baptist Church and the Grace Sunday School class. Survivors include nieces, Marynell Powell and Norma Caddell; nephews, Lowell Parker and J. T. Stewart; and several great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Essie Goosby and Ruby Spangler; and brothers, Ira Stewart, Henry Stewart, and Woodrow Stewart. Active pallbearers will be Bobby Chance, Wayne Bone, Ernest Wolfe, Marty Leland, Ken Brown, Rick Jenkins, and Rush Harrison. Honorary pallbearers will include Brother & Mrs. James Prewitt and members of Grace Sunday School class. The family wishes to express a special thank you to her friends that have been so dear and faithful to her.
