View Funeral Webcast Evelyn Pearl Flesher Adams, 77, resident of Brannon Court, died Saturday, August 21, 2010 at NHC Lewisburg. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Brother Bob Brewer officiating. Private family interment will follow in Henryville Cemetery in Lawrence County. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. A native of Pickaway County, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Myron Flesher and Margaret Skinner Flesher and a graduate of Bellevue Senior High School in Bellevue, Ohio. She was the widow of James Lewis "Jim" Adams who preceded her in death in 1993. For a number of years she and her husband operated Adams Insurance and Real Estate Agency in Bellevue, Ohio. Mrs. Adams was a member of Theta Church of Christ. Survivors include daughters, Cindy (Hilton) Linley of Brillant, Alabama and Melanie Shoemaker of Columbia; sons, Steve (Valerie) Adams of Fayetteville and Scott (Mary) Adams of Prospect; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers include Steven Adams, Hilton Linley, Krist Adams, Craig Eckler, Larry Chunn, and Johnny Cates. Members of Theta Church of Christ will serve as honorary pallbearers.
