Father Clare Joseph Hendricks

View Funeral Webcast Father Clare Joseph Hendricks, 83, a resident of Columbia, died Saturday, February 5, 2022 at NHC Maury Regional Transitional Care. A funeral mass will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. at St. Catherine’s Church with Father Dan Reehil officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born on May 5, 1938 in Indiana, he was the son of the late Clare James Hendricks and the late Johanna Socha Hendricks. He was a member of the United States Navy and Priest at St. Catherine’s Church. He is survived by his brother, Carl Hendricks and several cousins. Pallbearers will be the Knights of Columbus.
