View Video TributeView Funeral Webcast Floyd Eugene "Cotton" Davis, 80, farmer and retired construction worker and resident of Keg Springs Road in the Hampshire Community, died Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. J. D. Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Davis Cemetery. The Maury County native was the son of the late Johnnie Davis and Bertha Anderson Davis. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include two daughters, Wanda (Douglas) Tracy of Hampshire; Pamela Gail Cashion of Columbia; three sons, Kenneth Eugene (Jacquelyn) Davis, Michael Glenn (Linda) Davis and Donald Jeffery (Pam) Davis, all of Hampshire; three sisters, Hulda Beard and Ethel Davis, both of Columbia; Myrtle Potts of Theta; two brothers, Walker (Betty) Davis of Columbia, Dick (Dot) Davis of Williamsport; sixteen grandchildren, Brittany Kratzer, Douglas Tracy II, Misty DeAnn Gray, Kenneth Davis II, Bethany Davis, Jefferson Davis, Christopher Davis, Colton Davis, Tiffany Davis, Melanie Patterson, Wendy Martin, Amanda Greene, Dustin Cody Davis, Tabitha Lee Underwood, Kristin Joanna Cashion, Andrew Joseph Cashion; and fifteen great grandchildren, Sean Kratzer, Tucker Davis, Logan Davis, Mason Davis, Savannah Patterson, Austin Davis, Jaylen Knight, Keleigh Greene, Kelcee Greene, Drayson Davis, Erica Holt Henson, Kaylee Davis, Triston Davis, Preston Gobell, and Kilar Eric Pace. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mattie Kelley, Hattie Haynes, and Edna Riley; two brothers, Henry Davis and Sanford Davis; one grandchild, Chelsey Davis; and one great grandchild, Chasta Renee Gray. Pallbearers will be Douglas Tracy,II, Kenny Davis, II, Cody Davis, Jefferson Davis, Austin Davis, Ronnie Dickson, Richard Wilkes, and Johnnie Hines. Honorary pallbearers will be J. W. Gray, Zec Kratzer, Drew Cashion, and Johnnie Cummings.
