View Video Tribute Foster Fremont Wilt, 93, retired investment broker, died Monday, July 23, 2012 at NHC Healthcare of Lewisburg. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 4:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols with Pastor Gregory Wilt, Sr. officiating. The family will visit with friends from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M. A native of Blair County, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Herman Joseph Wilt and Laura Carothers Wilt. He was first married to Genevieve DeRidder Wilt who preceded him in death on January 29, 1997. He later married Pansy Ledbetter Wilt who survives. Mr. Wilt retired from King & Company in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Lewisburg. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Dan (Lynn) Wilt of Columbia; five grandchildren, Pam Maxey of Cadiz, Kentucky; Sherry VanEss of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Dana Walker of Holland, Michigan; Greg Wilt of Bend, Oregon; Lori Brown of Columbia; and twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter, Janice VanEss in 1987; sister, Nellie Wilt in 1968; and two brothers, Clifford Wilt in 1918 and Galen Wilt in 1953.
