The children of Frances A. Domenico are sad to announce the passing of their mother at the age of 99 on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
With family and friends spread out across the country, we decided not to have a funeral service and instead celebrated her life privately with immediate family only—something we know she would have wanted. Online condolences and special memories you would like to share may be extended at www.oakesandnichols.com.
She lived a quite an amazing life. She was born one of seven children in Rochester, NY, on March 13, 1927, to the late Louis Caselli and the late Maria Francesca Ianuzzi Caselli, who migrated from Italy. Most of her early years were spent between New York and Florida; she loved the water, warm weather, and sunshine. In later years, Tennessee became her home, where she was surrounded by the love and care of her family and a few good friends.
She was a strong advocate of nutrition, exercise, and spirituality, which we believe contributed to her living a full life for 99 years. She was married to Joseph Domenico, who preceded her in death. Frances’ greatest joy came from spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, Richard (Scottie) Domenico and Frank Domenico; daughter, Debra Domenico; sister, Louise Prete; grandchildren, Joey (Moira) Domenico, Bonnie Moss, and Adam (Karlee) Knoll; great-grandchildren, Isla Knoll, Parker Knoll, Oliver Moss, and Lucy Moss; and several nieces and nephews.
Mom, we will miss you dearly and will be with you again someday in heaven. All our love, from your three bambinos—Frank, Debe, and Ric.
