View Video TributesMrs. Frances Haywood Woodall Fraser, 94, died Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Life Care Center of Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Wesley - Akin Chapel Church of the Nazarene with Rev. David Usry officiating. Burial will follow in Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4 - 8:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to Santa Fe Cemetery Fund, c/o Norman Harris, 3929 Sowell Hollow Rd., Columbia, TN 38401 or Mt. Wesley-Akin Chapel Church of the Nazarene, 2013 Santa Fe Pike, Columbia, TN 38401. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com, The Maury County native was the daughter of the late James Hubert Haywood and Tommie Bradford Haywood and was a 1935 graduate of Santa Fe High School. She was first married to M.C. Woodall who preceded her in death in 1977 then married Murphy Fraser in 1987. He preceded her in death in 2001. Mrs. Fraser was employed by Kroger for thirty three years where she had been Head Cashier and front end Manager. She was Past President of Columbia Business and Professional Women and was a member of Knob Creek Homemakers. She was a member of Mt. Wesley-Akin Chapel Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include sons, Carl Edward Woodall and James C. (Eunita) Woodall both of Columbia; grandsons, Jimmy (Lori) Woodall, Neel (Tammy) Woodall both of Columbia; nephew, Billy Buchanan of Los Angeles, California; niece, Patricia Ann Buchanan of Columbia; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and step-grandchildren, Trilene McCormick, Mindi McCormick both of Nashville and Anita (Marvin) Stewart of Columbia. Active pallbearers include Eddie Woodall, Jimmy Woodall, Jimmy Woodall, Neel Woodall, Larry Fox and Jeff Fox. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Walters, Robert Carroll Hood, Elton Sisk, Jimmy Hanback, Ray Holden, Jackie Potts, Curtis Flowers, former employees of Kroger and members of Mt. Wesley-Akin Chapel Church of the Nazarene.
