Frances Goodwin Hedrick

Frances Goodwin Hedrick, 87, widow of George Hedrick and retired from Publix Manufacturing Company, died Monday, December 31, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Nebo Cemetery with Chaplain Eddie Rogers officiating. The family will visit with friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols. Notes of sympathy may be extended at oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late George Coleman Goodwin and Lottie Willie Howell Goodwin and attended the Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Kaye Hedrick and Georgene (Leon) Hinson, both of Columbia; grandchildren, Keith (Ann) Hinson and Deborah (Keith) Poarch; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two special nieces, Jewell Sutherland and Shirley Kennedy. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
