View Funeral WebcastGeorge Junior Jett, IV, 40, employee of Perdue Farms in Monterey, died Thursday, December 17, 2015 at his residence in Cookeville, Tennessee. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Eddie Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Hardison Cemetery on Rock Springs Road. A native of Bedford County, Tennessee, he was the son of Florence Elaine Williams Jett and George Junior Jett, III, of Fayetteville. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is survived by sisters, Mary (Mike) Burton of Kelso; Melissa (Steven) Bevers, Crystal Cowan, Maggie Jett, and Madison Jett, all of Fayetteville; five nieces; seven nephews; and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jesse B. Jett; maternal grandparents, Jesse Boyd Williams and Evelyn Hardison Williams; and paternal grandparents, George J. Jett, Jr. and Mamie Katherine Griffis Jett. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
