View Funeral WebcastMrs. Gladys Sue Brown Ingram, 90, retired nursing technician at Maury Regional Medical Center and resident of Shawnee Drive, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Hidden Acres in Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Chaplain Eddie Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Wilkes Cemetery in the Culleoka Community. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Revis Sherman Brown and Fannie Sue Hight Brown. She attended Central Christian Church. In August, 1937 she married Sam Thurman Ingram who preceded her in death December 31, 1984. She was also preceded in death by a son, Lonnie Teril Ingram in 1995. Survivors include daughters, Nell (Cyril) Evers of Columbia and Earlene (Doyle) Bryant of Shelbyville; son, Smith Thomas "Smitty" Ingram of Culleoka; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers are Kevin Ingram, Dale Ingram, Phillip Evers, David Vernon, Kreig Roof, and Warren Ingram. Honorary pallbearers include Anita Webster, Dr. Thomas Dake and staff, Dr. Belinda Bart and staff, employees of Hidden Acres and Hospice Compassus.
