Gladys Louella “Tiny” Scroggins Odom, 85, lifelong resident of Columbia, passed away Friday, May 15, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, May 18, 2026, at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Anthony Atkisson, Tim Atkisson, and Jason Keyser officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Monday from 12:00 noon until the service time at the funeral home. Born June 28, 1940, in Maury County, Mrs. Odom was the daughter of the late Elmer Clifford Scroggins and the late Elizabeth Estelle Wales Scroggins. On May 9, 1959, she married the love of her life, Charles Robert Odom, and together they shared many devoted years of marriage until his passing in 2022. Mrs. Odom was a faithful and loving homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was deeply devoted to her church and family and enjoyed singing and playing the piano at church. She was a member of the Pentecostals of Columbia and also attended The Tabernacle in Lewisburg with her daughter. Mrs. Odom loved cooking for her family and was known as an excellent cook whose meals brought everyone together. She retired from J.C. Penney after many years of service. Her unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her daughter, Tina (Tim) Atkisson; son, Guy (Julie) Odom; grandchildren, Anthony (Emily) Atkisson, Christie (Austin) Brown, Andrew (Amy) Atkisson, and Jordan (Alyssa) Atkisson; great-grandchildren, Presleigh Brown, Garrett Brown, Rose Atkisson, Ruby Atkisson, River Atkisson, Reid Atkisson, Baylor Atkisson, Huntley Atkisson, Micah Atkisson, and Braydan Atkisson; daughter-in-law, Penny Odom; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, parents, and sister, she was preceded in death by her son, Chuck Odom; sister, Lois Jean Scroggins Roberts; and grandsons, Robbie Odom, Steffan Graves, and Halen Odom.

Pallbearers will include Steve Odom, Guy Odom, Austin Brown, Justin Odom, Bruce Odom, Andrew Atkisson, Jordan Atkisson, Braydan Atkisson, and Garrett Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Pentecostals of Columbia, and The Tabernacle in Lewisburg.
