Grady Alvin Morrow Jr

Grady Alvin Morrow, Jr., 71, retired employee of General Electric, died Friday, January 30, 2015 at his residence on Taylor Store Road in the Hampshire Community. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 4:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Stephen Kelley officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Grady Alvin Morrow, Sr. and Mary Polkie Farris Morrow. He was a graduate of Hampshire High School. Mr. Morrow was a farmer before he began his career at General Electric. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was a member of South Point Church of Christ. One of his greatest joys was his grandson Weston. Survivors include his wife, Betty Ann Beadle Morrow of Hampshire, whom he married December 8, 1967; sons, Alvin (Melissa) Morrow, III and Danny Wayne (Chasity) Morrow, both of Hampshire; brother, W. M. (Betty) Morrow of Hampshire; and grandchild, Weston Morrow of Hampshire.
