Harriett Timko Moore, 95, widow of Carlos Tillman "C. T." Moore, Jr., died Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Life Care Center of Columbia. A private graveside service was held at Pleasant Mount Cemetery. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements. Born March 16, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Stephen John Timko and Matilda Kloka Timko of Opa-Locka, Florida. Mrs. Moore and her husband, a Columbia native, moved back to Columbia following his retirement from Eastern Air Lines in Miami after thirty-eight years. She was an executive secretary for the Dade County School System. Survivors include her daughters, Kathleen (William) Phillips of Little Rock, Arkansas; Dr. Susan Russell of Columbia; Rebecca (Dr. Lindsey) Heard of Macon, Georgia; brother, Jack Timko of Warren, Michigan; grandchildren, Dr. Kristi (Tony) Wenger, Lisa Beth (Brian) Counts, Kim (Scotty) Person, Dr. Justin Phillips, Dr. Lara (Dr. Alan) Udouj, Robert Russell, Stephen (Rachel) Russell, Andrew Russell, Moore Russell, Gregg Mangum, David Mangum, and Liza Jane Mangum; great grandchildren, Abby Wenger, Katie Wenger, Molly Wenger, Jason Wenger, Avery Counts, Owen Counts, Libby Counts, Haley Person, Claire Person, Nate Udouj, Reese Udouj, and Charles Tillman Russell; nieces, Kim Lazarus and Cindy Signore. Lifelong friends include her cousin, Marie Knafel of Ohio and Martha Lilley of Michigan. She was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Zokoski; brother, William Timko; and son-in-law, Dr. Michael Mangum.
