View Funeral WebcastMr. William Harvey Moore, III, 61, died Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Hugh Cunningham officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 5 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday at Lynnhurst Cemetery in Knoxville. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Knoxville native was the son of the late William Harvey Moore and Bobbie Bayless Moore. He attended Columbia Military Academy and Columbia State Community College. Mr. Moore was a plumber and had been employed by Hooker Chemical Co. He was avid UT fan. Survivors include his sister, Ms. Missy Moore of Columbia; several cousins; and special friends, Mark Keene, Rick Mencer and Amy Risner.
