Mrs. Hazel Elizabeth Miller Baker Pigg, 88, former employee of Sears & Roebuck, died Friday, July 26, 2013 at her residence in the Santa Fe Community. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Donna Higginbotham officiating. Burial will follow in Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 1:00 - 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A native of Lee County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Jackson Miller and Ruth Amanda Everett Miller. She was first married to William Clyde Baker who preceded her in death in 1966 and later married John William Pigg who survives. Mrs. Pigg was a graduate of Leesburg High School in Georgia. She retired as credit manager for Sears & Roebuck having thirty-two years service. She was a very devoted wife and mother and loved all her family. She was a member of Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Janice (Raymond) Mockmore of Brentwood; step-daughter, Sandra Gail Pigg Sewell of Santa Fe; grandsons, Kevin (Shelly) Lindsey of Brentwood; Raymond Lee Mockmore, Jr. and William Craig (Elizabeth) Mockmore, both of Nashville; granddaughter-in-law, Maria Lindsey of Fairview; great grandchild, Alexis Lindsey of Brentwood; step great grandson, Hunter Lasley of Brentwood; brother, Robert (Nancy) Miller of DeSoto, Georgia; sister, Beulah Bowen of Buford, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by grandson, Tim Lindsey; and two brothers, Ernest Miller and Harold Miller. Active pallbearers will be Kevin Lindsey, Craig Mockmore, Eddie Hahn, Jeff Hahn, John Ray Baker, and Tom Fleming. Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Mockmore, Charles Pigg, Rip Baxter, and Monty Norman.
