View Funeral Webcast Heather Lynn Carl Wehring, 26, and infant son Jimmy Lynn Wehring, residents of Summertown, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 P.M. Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Craig Updyke officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Born in Lansing, Michigan and raised in Perry, Michigan, Heather was a 2003 graduate of Spring Hill High School. Heather was a very happy and outgoing young woman who enjoyed camping and spending time with her family and friends. She was a very loving mother and wife and passionate about both. Heather is truly missed by her husband, Jimmy Wehring of Summertown; one son, Dakota Eugene Wehring of Summertown; parents, Terry & Laurie Armstrong Carl of Columbia; one sister, Tiffany Carl of Columbia; maternal grandparents, Harry & Marilyn Schultz Armstrong of Perry, Michigan; paternal grandmother, Betty Willis Carl of Williamston, Michigan; nephew, Carson Alberts of Columbia; Jackson Manley and Jacob Manley, both of Columbus, Mississippi; mother-in-law, Terri Wehring of San Diego, California; sisters-in-law, Sharlotte (Matt) Manley of Columbus, Mississippi; and Katrina (Corban) Caudle of San Diego, California; stepson, Kodie Wehring of Long Beach, Mississippi; stepdaughter, Amber Wehring of Long Beach, Mississippi; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Earl Eugene Carl; and her godfather, Uncle Paul Potier. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be (Daddy) Robert Dycus and (Daddy) Mike Thompson.
