Helga Wieland O'Field

Helga Wieland O’Field, 86, retired employee of Innercity Products, died Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at her residence in Columbia.

Graveside services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at Rose Hill Cemetery with Marleen Bedker officiating. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with arrangements and condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.

Born July 20, 1937, in Heilbronn, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Henry Wieland and the late Pauline Wiesman Wieland. In 1962, she married Errol Dean O’Field, Sr. who preceded her in death. Mrs. O’Field had worked for Dixie Manufacturing and Publix Shirt Factory.

Survivors include her children, Raymond (Lori) O’Field of Santa Fe; Regina Andrews of Lewisburg; Errol Dean “Boogie” O’Field, Jr. of Columbia; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
