Henrietta Brunson Priest, 61, affectionately known as "Nanny," resident of the Williamsport Community, and member of the cafeteria staff of the Maury County School System, died Friday, May 6, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Lawrence County. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Church of Christ with David Morris and Curtis Dowdy officiating. Burial will follow in West Point Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols and Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the church. A life-long resident of Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Henry Brunson, Jr. and Brownie Elizabeth Williamson Brunson. She was a 1968 graduate of Columbia Central High School. A faithful member of Highland Church of Christ, she enjoyed leading Bible studies and teaching Sunday School. She was the devoted wife of Eddie Clifton Priest of the Williamsport Community, whom she married August 2, 1975. Additionally, her loving family includes a daughter, Kimberly Beasley of Columbia; step-daughter, Terri (Joel) Seaton of Columbia; grandchildren, Meghan (Christian) Carter of Killeen, Texas and Justin Carter of Columbia; great-grandson, Kamden Jace Carter of Killeen, Texas; step-grandchildren, Destiny Seaton, Terryn Seaton, and Jayden Seaton, all of Columbia; step-great-granddaughter, Alyssa Seaton of Columbia; sister, Patti (Jimmy) Lovett of Columbia; mother-in-law, Deamie White Priest of Columbia; brother-in-law, David Priest of Columbia; nephews, Wayne (Teressa) Lovett and Brian (Stephanie) Lovett; great-niece, Carly Lovett; great-nephews, Caleb Lovett and Gage Lovett. Active pallbearers are David Priest, Gary Ligon, Jimmy Rodgers, Jimmy Floyd, Ricky Floyd, and Phil Floyd.
