Mr. Henry Ernest Lee, 76, former resident of Concord Drive, died Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Signature Health Care. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Chaplin Donna Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 11:00 A.M. to service time at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born May 5, 1939, he was the son of the late Ernest Lee and Henrietta Bowling Lee. He was married to Clara Marie Barnes Hendley Lee who preceded him in death October 4, 2012. Mr. Lee was a longtime employee for TKM and Uniweb. He attended First Family Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughters, Kay (Steve Deal) Rainey of Charlotte, Tennessee; Tamatha Lee Taylor of Columbia; Janice McKennon of Hohenwald; sons, Ricky (Diane) Hendley of Trinity, Alabama; Randall (Betty) Hendley of Columbia; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son, Joel Hendley; and sister, Martha Hie. Pallbearers will members of the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19.
