View Video TributeView Funeral Service WebcastImogene Hardison Shannon, 97, widow of Ernest Marion Shannon and former resident of Rock Springs Road, died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at NHC Columbia.Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Jack White officiating. Burial will follow in Hardison Cemetery on Rock Springs Road. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. She was the daughter of the late Wilburn Hardison and Maggie Hardison Hardison. She was retired from Tennessee Knitting Mills and was a member of New Lasea Church of Christ. She is survived by 2 nieces, Dot (Van) Brown of Columbia, Elaine (George) Jett of Fayetteville; 6 nephews, Billy (Febre) Hardison, Allen (Marie) Brown, Jimmy (Waynese) Hardison, David Hardison all of Columbia, Charley (Nancy) Brown of Petersburg, Mike Hardison of Linden; and several great nieces and great nephews. Pallbearers will be Ricky Brown, David Brown, Steve Brown, Tyler Brown, David Hardison, Mike Hardison and Billy Hardison.
