Ina Wiley Kennedy

Mrs. Ina Wiley Kennedy, 84, resident of Dry Fork Road in the Hampshire Community, died Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at NHC Columbia. Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Kittrell Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Jesse John Wiley and Opie Farris Wiley. She was a 1947 graduate of Hampshire High School and Valedictorian of her graduating class. On April 27, 1948 she married William Holmes Kennedy who preceded her in death June 24, 2007. Mrs. Kennedy was a member of Cathey's Creek Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughters, Kaye (Larry) Bruce of Hampshire, Brenda Mannon of New Orleans, Louisiana; grandchildren, Rebecca Bruce of Nashville, Laura Bruce of Murfreesboro, Sarah Moore of Manchester, Daniel Mannon of Florence, Alabama; great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Hunter, Hayden, Will; niece, Jean Wilkes White of Memphis; nephews, Richard (Tina) Wilkes of Mt. Pleasant; Vince Page of Memphis; and sister-in-law, Nancy (Bill) Page of Memphis. She was preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Wilkes. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
