Johnny Dwight "J.D."Hall, 61, self-employed construction worker and resident of Mooresville Pike, died Friday, December 4, 2009 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Pastor Danny Laster officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in the Culleoka Community. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The life-long resident of Maury County loved playing billiards. Survivors include a daughter, Nicki (John) Luna of Columbia; sons, Vincent Hall of Columbia and Scott (Rachel) Hall of Culleoka; his mother, Mildred Christine Jones Hall Tillery of Culleoka; sister, Mildred Ann Speece of Hohenwald; brother, Billy Ray Hall of Culleoka; step-sisters, Janice Sims and Cheryl Howell of Columbia; step-brother, Ronnie (Bridget) Tillery of Franklin; grandchildren, Casandra Hall, Kenneth Beaver, Jacob Morton, Brandon Morton, Josh Morton, and David Morton; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by a son, John "Bart" Hall and his father, John Granville Hall. Pallbearers are Ray Hall, Stevie Jones, John Luna, James Hosse, Chris Potts, and Tim Sharpton.
