View Funeral WebcastMr. Jackie William Stewart, 58, resident of McBride Circle, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Ward Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Willie Timothy Stewart and Mary Magdalene Swindle Stewart. He was a 1970 graduate of Columbia Central High School. Mr. Stewart enjoyed working on his computer, doing church work and he loved gospel music. He was a member of Christ Church Columbia. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Shirley (Bill) Morgan of Manchester; brother, Ronnie (Judy) Stewart of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Kenny Manire, Christopher Stewart, Jeffrey Stewart, Buford Moss, Edward Morgan and John Forbus.
