James Eugene Crone

Mr. James Eugene Crone, 73, retired employee of McGraw Hill and resident of Timberwood Drive, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at St. Thomas Hospital. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with arrangements. He attended First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Crone in 1978. Survivors include his wife, Linda Kaye Shannon Crone of Columbia; two sons, Kevin (Carol) Crone of Cottontown, Brent (Carol) Turner of Seattle, Washington; four daughters, Lisa (Bobby) Gourley and Lynda (Sam) Uldrich both of White House, TN, Lori (Elliott) Godwin of Whitehouse, Texas; Robin (Richard) Anderton of Spring Hill; two brothers, Robert Crone of Washington, ILL, Richard Crone of Peoria, ILL; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
