James Fry "Jimmy" White, 63, life-long resident of Columbia, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at his residence on Harlan Road. The Maury County native was the son of the late Raynor Carl White, Sr. and Evelyn Johnson White. He was a 1968 graduate of Columbia Central High School and member of First United Methodist Church since early childhood. He was employed by Custom Steel Fabrication and L. S. White Construction Company for a number of years. Mr. White had a passion for motorcycles, loved his dogs, riding his lawnmower and was a wonderful grandfather. He had a great and long love for his wife, Clarice Eloise Allen White, whom he married December 12, 2005. He is also survived by his brothers, Ray (Linda) White and Clifford (Sissy) White of Columbia; daughter, Rebecca (Greg) Shima of Culleoka; grandchildren, Christopher Wilson, John Wilson, and Benjamin Collins; niece, Megan White (Scott) Wells; nephew, Scott (Jana) Speer; a great-niece and three great-nephews. Family services will be private.
