James Thomas "Jimmy" Fogg

James Thomas "Jimmy" Fogg, 67, resident of Nashville Highway, died Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Life Care Center. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Donald Paul officiating with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19. The family suggests memorials to Hospice Compassus, 1412 Trotwood Avenue, Columbia 38401; Zion Christian Academy, 6901 Old Zion Road, Columbia 38401; or Wounded Heroes Foundation, 161 North Clark Street, Suite 4200, Chicago, Illinois 60601. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Roy "Pete" Fogg and Mildred Irene Paul Fogg. He was a 1961 graduate of Columbia Central High School, served in the U. S. Army, and was a 32 degree Mason. Survivors include a daughter, Kim (Todd) Curry of Shady Grove; a son, Jason (Cynthia) Fogg of Spring Hill; grandchildren, Meghan Perkins, Jonah Fogg, and McKensey Fogg, all of Spring Hill, Michael Curry, Lindsey Curry, and Tori Curry, all of Shady Grove; a brother, Roy Lee (Terri) Fogg of New Market, Alabama; three half-sisters; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Jonah Fogg, Michael Curry, Todd Curry, Pat Adams, Mark Curry, and Justin Curry. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with arrangements.
