View Video Tribute View Funeral Webcast James Ronald Grisgby, 69, retired unit IV operator for Rhone-Poulenc Corporation and resident of Whitney Drive, died Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Signature Health Care. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Brother Dorris Rader. officiating. The family will visit with friends after 5:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late James E. Grigsby and Louise Shelton Grigsby. He was a 1960 graduate of Columbia Central High School and member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include a daughter, Kim Law of Spring Hill; grandson, Joshua Law of Spring Hill; nephew, Bruce Parsons of Columbia; brother-in-law, Greg Parsons of Spring Hill; uncle, Gerald (Patsy) Grigsby of Donelson; aunt, Betty Ann (Danny) Eisenburg of Valley Cottage, New York. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gail Brooks Grigsby in November of 1999; a sister, Mitzi Parsons, and nephew, Josh Parsons.
