Mr. James Lewis "Woody" White, II, 46, resident of the Mooresville Pike in the Culleoka Community, died Friday, May 31, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 3:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Corey Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. and Monday from 1:00 - 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to American Cancer Society, P. O. The Maury County native was the son of James Lewis "Jimmy" White and Hattie "Hassie" Wilson White of Culleoka. He was a 1984 graduate of Culleoka High School. Mr. White was formerly employed at Fedders Corporation, DNA Technology, Sharp Transport and Tri-star Transport. He enjoyed woodworking and found it very gratifying and rewarding. He was a member of Culleoka Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife whom he married July 26, 2008, Julie Bolin White of Culleoka; children, Raeann Lee White and Garrett James White, both of Michigan; Shelby Lynne White of Culleoka; step child, Gilbert Rodriguez of Michigan; brother, Andrew Dale "Andy" (Kerri Beth) White of Killen, Alabama; niece, Hannah Grace White; nephews, Alex Richardson, Mason Bolin, Triston Bolin, Ethan Anderson, Jackson Anderson; aunt, Carlene Hall White; cousins, Delana White and Deborah White Griffy; mother-in-law, Sue Maynard; father-in-law, Arthur Bolin; sisters-in-law, Angelia Potts, Sarah Hargrove, Catherine Sue Anderson; and maternal grandparents-in-law, Bob & Betty Gibson. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Leonard & Hattie Potts Wilson; paternal grandparents, Lewis & Janie Demastus White; and uncle, Larry Thomas White. Active pallbearers will be Kevin Price, Alan Ibbotson, Steve Snyder, Randy Parrish, Cameron Potts, Bryan Wilson, Tom Xiques, and Jerry Hutchinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Davis, Joe Alexander, Chip Davis, Harvey Briggs, David Kimbrough, and Adam Kinney.
