Jamie William Hawkins

Mr. Jamie William Randolph Hawkins, 53, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Online condolences may be extended at www.oakesandnichols.com.

Jamie was born July 8, 1973, in Murfreesboro. He was a volunteer with Chattanooga Cares and was known for his loving heart, sassy personality, and ability to bring joy to those around him. Jamie enjoyed spending time outdoors, but above all, he cherished spending time with his family. He especially loved making memories with his great-nieces, great-nephew, and his husband, Richard.

Jamie is survived by his loving husband of seven years, Richard Alan Hawkins; his mother, Linda Randolph Taylor; niece, Jessica Finch; nephew, Jonathan Randolph; great-nieces, Elora Schuller, Elaina Schuller, and Iris Randolph; great-nephew, Floyd Randolph; and numerous cousins, friends, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lelia and Willie Randolph; brother, Jesse William Randolph; and his stepfather, Howard Cleveland Seagraves, who helped raise him.

Jamie will be lovingly remembered for his kind heart, spirited personality, and the love he shared with his family and friends. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
