View Video TributeMrs. Jamie Rosetta Nutt West, 54, self-employed truck driver, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at her residence on Joe Reeves Road in Lewisburg, Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. David Starcher officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4 - 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered to the family online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born in Hohenwald on August 13, 1958, she was the daughter of Cleta J. Meredith Goodin of Adamsville and the late James Aron Nutt, Sr. She was a 1976 graduate of Wayne County High School. She lived in Wayne County until 1986 and resided in West Virginia until returning back to Middle Tennessee in 2011 due to illness. Mrs. West was an instructor for a time with USA Training Academy Truck Driving School. She enjoyed cross stitching and crafts and was a member of Primitive Baptist Church in Wayne County. In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Greg West of Lewisburg whom she married November 7, 1988; children, Aron (Rachel) Mathis of Florence, Alabama, Meredith (Val) Tilley of Lutts, Joshua Tilley of Athens, Alabama; step-children, Sara (James) Swain of Sissonville, West Virginia, Mike West of Charleston, West Virginia; sisters, Pam (Bill) Crozier of Manchester, Melissa (Tom) Moody of Georgetown, Kentucky; brother, Jimbo (Kim) Nutt of Culleoka; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two nieces; six nephews; one great-niece; and her special companion yorkie, Sunshine.
