View Funeral WebcastMrs. Jane Huber Walker, 89, resident of Manchester, died Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Ben Atchley Veterans Home in Knoxville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Central Funeral Home in Manchester with Rev. Neal Glass officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 9:00 - 11:00 A.M. at Central Funeral Home, 2812 Hillsboro Highway, Manchester, Tennessee. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Columbia. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. On May 19, 1947, she married William Earl Walker who preceded her in death on February 16, 2002. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Manchester.Survivors include one son, Bob (Mary) Walker of Oak Ridge; three grandchildren, Lindsay (Sean) Green of Knoxville; Drew Walker of Chicago, Illinois; Jeremiah Owens of Nashville; two great grandchildren, Jaylon Green and Meeyah Green, both of Knoxville; brother-in-law, Harry (Martha) Walker of Winchester; sister-in-law, Bertha Adkisson of Columbia.Pallbearers will be Harry Walker, Jack Butler, Reed Butler, Phil Sutherland, Dennis Overstreet, Roger Overstreet, Michael Overstreet, Keith Dale, and Tim Dale.
