View Funeral WebcastMrs. Jane Huber Walker, 89, resident of Manchester, died Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Ben Atchley Veterans Home in Knoxville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Central Funeral Home in Manchester with Rev. Neal Glass officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 9:00 - 11:00 A.M. at Central Funeral Home, 2812 Hillsboro Highway, Manchester, Tennessee. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Columbia. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com.A native of Hamilton, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Gertrude Streamas Johns. On May 19, 1947, she married William Earl Walker who preceded her in death on February 16, 2002. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Manchester.Survivors include one son, Bob (Mary) Walker of Oak Ridge; three grandchildren, Lindsay (Sean) Green of Knoxville; Drew Walker of Chicago, Illinois; Jeremiah Owens of Nashville; two great grandchildren, Jaylon Green and Meeyah Green, both of Knoxville; brother-in-law, Harry (Martha) Walker of Winchester; sister-in-law, Bertha Adkisson of Columbia.Pallbearers will be Harry Walker, Jack Butler, Reed Butler, Phil Sutherland, Dennis Overstreet, Roger Overstreet, Michael Overstreet, Keith Dale, and Tim Dale.
