Janette Gilliam Jackson, 62, resident of Nashville for several years, died Friday, February 26, 2010 at Hillside Hospital in Pulaski. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Johnny Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 3:00 - 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Joe Rhea Gilliam and Viola Virginia Story Gilliam. She was a 1966 graduate of Columbia Central High School and was employed at Nashville HCA and Quorum Health Care. She was a member of Taking Care of Business for Christ Church in Pulaski. Survivors include two sisters, Lauretta "Jinnie" (Sam) Peach of Murfreesboro and Jasmine Gilliam Campbell of Hendersonville. She was preceded in death by two sisters, her twin Annette Gilliam and Jo Evelyn Fitzgerald. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
