View Video Tribute Janice Sue King White, nurse and resident of Dawson Dr., died Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Elder Marie Pressnell and Pastor Mark Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in McCains Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1864, Columbia, TN 38402. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Mack Ray King, Sr. and the late Lillie Mae Grissom King Parham. She was employed as a nurse at St. Bernard's Convent and was very involved in Nursing Home ministries. Mrs. White was a member of Pentecostal Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, James Neal White of Columbia whom she married October 15, 1986; father, L.D. (Lucille) Parham of Columbia; brother, Doyle (Susie) Parham of Columbia; sister, Joyce Fay Jones of Nashville; sisters-in-law, Carolyn King of Columbia, Embry Brunson (Tracy) Nichols of Franklin; devoted mother-in-law, Helen Brunson of Columbia; several nieces and nephews; and special pet, "Bobo". She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kathy Michelle Senter and a brother, Mack Ray King. Active pallbearers will be Tyler Parham, Zachary Parham, Chandler Michael, Will Nichols, Brandon Coffee, David Jones, Michael Jones and Justin Parham. Honorary pallbearers will be Wanda and Mark Sartain, Dr. Cheryl Johnson, employees of Maury Regional Medical Center Oncology Unit and members of Pentecostal Church of Christ.
