Jean Treece "Jinx" Moore

Jean Treece "Jinx" Moore, 78, retired from Wal-Mart Corporation and resident of Brannon Court, died Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery with Pastor Gary Townsend officiating. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at Oakes & Nichols. Notes of sympathy may be sent to oakesandnichols.com. Born in Union County, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Eugene B. Treece and Doris Ann Marks Treece and made her home as a young lady in Barnwell, South Carolina. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Francis Gene (Tammy)Smith of Culleoka; grandchildren, Charles (Skylar) Smith and Dustin Smith of Culleoka; great-grandchild, Liam Stampfly of Culleoka; nephews, Charlie Moore and David Moore. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jeanette Ann Treece Moore. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
