Jeffery Allen “Jeff” White, 36, a resident of Columbia, passed away Friday, August 21, 2026, in Ramer, TN.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Brother Marshall Carson officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Online condolences may be extended at www.oakesandnichols.com.

Born on June 23, 1990, in Nashville, Jeff was the son of Howard Wayne White and Tonya Denise Potts White. He was a 2008 graduate of Columbia Central High School and worked as a truck driver for South East Carriers in Lawrenceburg. Jeff loved his job and especially enjoyed the friendships he formed with his fellow drivers, whom he considered family.

Outside of work, Jeff enjoyed drag racing and was an avid animal lover, especially when it came to his dogs and chickens. He was a true people person who never hesitated to help others. Above all, Jeff cherished his family and always put them first. He was a loving son, grandson, uncle, and father. Jeff was also a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church, where he dearly loved his church family.

In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by his sons, Conner White and Hudson White; maternal grandmother, Linda “MeMe” Potts; paternal grandfather, Howard O. (Shelia) White; siblings, Tiffany (Jack) Simanson, Alex Shanes, Tiffani (Juan) Rodriguez, Geva Hunt, and Jonathan (Victoria) White; uncles, Tony Potts and Freddy White; aunts, Carla Pugh and Tammy (James) Lovett; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Frank Potts; paternal grandmother, Geneva White; and maternal great-grandmother, Doris Jones.

Active pallbearers will be Jack Simanson, Brian Simanson, Hunter Simanson, Corey Simanson, Lance Chapman, Mason Pugh, Michael Pugh, and Jack Mickell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Hardin, Antoine McDougal, members of Solid Rock Baptist Church, Kevin Height, and the drivers of South East Carriers.

Jeff will be remembered for his kind heart, his willingness to help others, his love for his family, and the many friendships he made throughout his life. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on through his sons, family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
