View Video TributeJeffrey Leonard West, 58, resident of Carters Creek Pike, died Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Williamson Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Peery officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Ive L. West, Jr. and Ellen McMeen West. He was a life long farmer and member of West Point Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his brother, John (Carol) West of Centerville; twin sister, Jennifer (Jim) Barrier of Columbia; nephew, Ben West; niece, Christian Hayes; and great nephew, Carson Ive West. Active pallbearers will be cousins, Andy McMeen, Andy Whitten, David McMeen, J.B. West, David West, Joe West, Tony West and Ronald Blocker. Honorary pallbearers include Roger Pilkinton, Doug Williams, Lexi Sparkman, Jason Martin, Horace Higginbotham, Charles Higginbotham, Ray Higginbotham, and members of West Point Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
